Episodic Volunteering Programme
If you are either new to volunteering or do not have the time to commit long-term, the Episodic Volunteering Programme gives you a chance to try out volunteering and discover your preferred volunteering area at your own pace.
Introduced in 2016, the aim of this programme is to attract more seniors to come forward to try volunteering and be inspired to commit to regular volunteering work.
With a wide range of short-term volunteering opportunities through collaborations with other voluntary welfare organisations and charities, you will be able to find something you enjoy volunteering in!
Some of the one-time events/projects offered include:
- Food sorting/packing/preparation
- Befriending sessions
- Beach clean-ups
- Learning journeys to places of interest
